B is for....

B is for Boo Blog, Boooo....

Well, I did have high hopes for this blog...but it turns out that there are not enough hours in the day for me to blog everyday...I am going to try to recharge myself this weekend and will come back on Monday better than ever. I am going camping tomorrow with my brother and sister-in-law so I will be without the computer for a couple days...I promise to come back and post C, D, and E on Monday or shortly thereafter...I have a sneaking suspicion that C may just be for camping...but we will see. 

Currently, my husband is harassing me because I am blogging instead of packing for our trip or sleeping for my day at work tomorrow, so I suppose I should get off here...I will be better, promise.

Well, I have decided to join my sister's 26 days 26 letters quest and since today is the first...I must start with the letter A...Hopefully this will be a better plan for me and hopefully I can FORCE myself to sit down and write every evening instead of falling asleep at 10!!!! So here it goes. . . 

A is for almost;
When I got home from my evening activities today, I decided to sit down and work on my certification papers...These are papers that link me to my teaching profession that have been put on the back burner since I graduated in May. It is not that I do not want to teach, or that I do not love teaching...It has just been such a headache going through my program in college that I just wanted a little break! I have a great job at the county courthouse (doesn't pay that great though...) but I LOVE the ladies I work with and I LOVE the environment! I am slowly getting back into the idea of teaching, another profession that I love, it has just taken me a little time to get motivated...So, hopefully I will send these papers out soon and begin applying for teaching jobs in the area. So, today, A is for Almost, as in, almost a teacher...

Turns out, I was right...I didn't have time to blog. I am going to get this thing REALLY started now that the wedding is over and I can chronicle the adventures and *mis*adventures of being a being a newlywed! I promise I will start writing soon...my sister Mary Ann is really amazing at this whole blogging thing and I am just getting into it. I will try to see if I can make another post using her "13 Things on Thursday" idea...I will have to think of some random things to say though! More on this later!!!

wedding day blues...

Well, so far, there is only a 10% chance of rain on my wedding day...we'll see what happens.

On this past Wednesday, I went to my "final" dress fitting before the wedding...and, lo and behold, my dress was hemmed too short!!! Hopefully it will be fixed and I am going to try it on again today...I just hope it covers my ankles!!!

After I try on my dress tonight...We will be going see the Huntington Symphony tonight to see my sister Mary Ann play! We will have a fun night with Nathan and Sam...can't wait to sit outside and watch her play!

More on the wedding dress later....

Weeeell, I have decided that if people have time to listen to my sister's ramblings, they they may have time to read mine as well...

Let's see...I just finished my Master's degree in Elementary Education from WVU and FINALLY moved back home. I am adjusting quite nicely to living at home again, even keeping my room the same as before I left for college-- a mess with all my clothes thrown on the floor. I am currently working at the Kanawha County Courthouse in vital statistics as a summer intern and I LOVE MY JOB! I think I would honestly work there forever if they pay was good enough! I am about to marry my best friend Tyler, and by about to marry...I mean in 8 days; that's why I don't really have time for this blogging stuff...but we'll see. I still have to create an order of service, program, make all my favors, and I am sure about 1,000,000 other things!!!

I just thought I'd get the blog up and running before the wedding so I can post my wedding details, etc...I'll be sure to keep ya'll posted!!!
